Meet Beth
I’m a passionate and experienced English Tutor with the hope of using my knowledge and experience to help others realise and reach their potential.
During my time in Sixth Form, I tutored a small group of year 7 children who were pinpointed by their teachers as needing extra support to fully reach their potential. I continued this while in university, volunteering my time as a tutor to the EYST Homework Club: a programme that offered free support to students of ethnic minority who needed help with certain subjects. My sessions ranged from supporting KS3 students with homework tasks to preparing GCSE students for their exams and coursework.
Qualifications
I graduated from Swansea University from 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and followed this in 2022 with my Master of Arts in English Literature.
I have also completed a Level 5 Diploma with The TEFL Academy, and am qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language.
I currently possess a valid enhanced DBS certificate.
